Abstract
The application of the 16 Guidelines for Life, enable people to break through their self-limiting beliefs, step outside their destructive patterns, build better relationships, and ultimately develop their own innate capacity to be wise and compassionate.
The 16G can be applied in therapeutic and coaching sessions to be used as a tool to elicit the client’s skills and strengths and to assist the client to get to the goal that the client is working towards.
The introduction of using the 16G in solution focused settings invites clients to experience and apply mindfulness and to practice self-compassion.
When we would like to create a positive change in our lives, change starts with the individual. During this session we will come to understand that if we can develop our own capacity to be kind and wise, it follows that we will gradually bring happiness and meaning into our life and the lives of others.

With her business background and her work as a therapist and trainer for over 30 years, she has been training and working internationally with humanitarian projects and has been invited as a speaker globally to deliver training and to speak about her work.
Claudia is the Founder of the Wo’Moon Circle, The Hive – Women helping Women Entrepreneurs, Peace Art Project, Solution Focused Practice Network Nepal and Earth Guardians Scotland.
She lived for nearly thirty years in Scotland, UK and currently lives in the Netherlands.
Learning objectives
Participants will be introduced to the Finding your Happy: 16 Guidelines for Life Program and how to apply the Guidelines in Solution Focused Therapeutic sessions.

Claudia van Zuiden is the founder of Solution Ways – A Solution Focused Practice for Counselling, Personal – and Business Coaching, Educating, Consulting, Life-skills and Leadership Training.
Claudia is a worldwide accredited ‘Find Your Happy: 16 Guidelines’ Training Facilitator and offers a variety of programs which are based in solution focused therapy, Buddhism and scientific research on ethics and philosophy. She facilitates Workshops in Life -Skills, Team building and Compassionate Leadership. She also teaches Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation.
